DAWN MARIE ALINE (PARTHENAY) MCIVOR It is with sadness that the family announces the passing of Dawn McIvor, on November 17, 2010 at the age of 37 years. Dawn was born at the Grace Hospital in Winnipeg on April 17, 1973. She grew up on the Ebb & Flow First Nation doing the things that she loved best, being with her friends and singing and dancing. Dawn graduated from Ebb Flow School and then worked at Frankie's Pool Hall. She enjoyed working with children and liked taking them on trips. Dawn had one son Lindsey who she kept very close to her. She married Norbert McIvor and together they resided at Sandy Bay until her passing. Dawn leaves to mourn her passing and cherish many fond memories; her husband Norbert McIvor, her mother Angeline Houle (Howard), her father Danny Parthenay (Joan), one son Lindsey Houle (Julianne) and her grandchildren Jaylene and Malachi, three stepdaughters, four stepsons and 33 grandchildren, his sisters Michelle Parthenay-Mousseau (Terry), Crystal Mancheese (Milton), and her brother Deano Parthenay (Mary) along with numerous aunts, uncles, and extended family and friends. Wake services will be held in the Ebb Flow Community Complex beginning on Saturday, November 20, 2010 at 3:00 p.m. and in the Sandy Bay Complex beginning on Sunday, November 21, 2010 at 3:00 p.m. Funeral Service will be held on Monday, November 22, 2010 at 2:00 p.m. from Our Lady of Guadaloupe Roman Catholic Church, Sandy Bay First Nation, with interment to follow in the Sandy Bay Cemetery.
